Glyde Street, Mosman Park
Heritage Adaptive Reuse and Signage
A heritage building littered with signage of varying kinds, forming an inappropriate entrance statement to an emerging Western Suburbs precinct all presented immense opportunity. Through the coordination of architectural, landscape and traffic disciplines, and a lengthy government stakeholder engagement process, including Local Councillors, Main Roads and WA Planning Commission, the project was awarded approval. Of significance importance is the provision of local community messaging to passing motorists with the signage display, and upgraded alfresco space, both of which assist with the beatification and promotion of Mosman Park.
