Mixed Use Development / Heritage Adaptive Reuse
South Terrace is a vibrant urban centre, but what people don’t realise is that the underlying zoning is best described as an inconsistent patchwork, making consistent development outcomes challenging. We identified a section of the over-arching planning framework that was utilised to set aside sterilising development standards, through heritage refurbishment, and in the process, obtained approval for a location appropriate heritage outcome.
