Project Detail
A difficult and highly constrained, yet visually prominent site in West Leederville had remained dormant and under-utilised for a number of years.
Following a number of approvals for signage proposals on the site, a prospective purchaser approached our Office to assist with an Application for Planning Approval for a mixed use building on the subject site.
Following an earlier design that was rejected by the Development Assessment Panels, our Office coordinated with a new project Architect to deliver a new design for the proposal.
Due to the constraints of the site, a number of variations to the prevailing planning requirements were sought, making the proposal a difficult discretionary decision. Ultimately the proposal was refused a further time, requiring an Application for review to be pursued.
Our Office successfully managed a Mediation and Reconsideration process involving the necessary amendments to the proposal, dealing with the issues at hand, resulting in an approval through the Reconsideration process.
